I hoped that this story would be outdated by now. But our better angels don’t always prevail. In fact, our better angels seem to have disappeared. If you see them, please tell them to come home. We miss them, and all is forgiven.
Jokes aside, I enjoy finding unexpected ways to tell a story. After writing a fake personals ad for a (spoiler) mass shooter, I thought it’d be interesting to observe the same character through his purchase history. Given consumerism’s grip on our lives, few things define us like our spending.
